I’ve had two rounds of pneumonia and am a single mom to a wonderful child so while I don’t normally get a flu shot (have done so on and off and have gotten the flu some years and not other years and find no relation to the flu and the flu shot (or cannot make a correlation as to effectiveness anecdotally)), I’m going to get this one. It certainly is a personal choice.

You couldn’t pay me enough to get that vaccine and I’m in the high risk group!

Oh, and Adam did fine. He took it without a problem. He sits calmly and waits for the doctor and says hi to him.

As for my shot, I also intend to get it soon.

It’s only for those that are HIGH RISK.

We don’t plan on getting it. The flu shot has NEVER been recommended by our Ped’s or Dr’s and we had a flu in May that may or may not have been H1N1.

Enjoy being paranoid… and jumping the queue.
